ARTHOK ist ein einzigartiges Kultur- und Kreativprojekt in Dahnsdorf, Brandenburg, das den ländlichen Raum als Ort der interdisziplinären Vernetzung neu definiert. Neben seiner künstlerischen Ausrichtung bietet ARTHOK auch einen praxisnahen Zugang zu MINT-Themen , indem es nachhaltige Infrastrukturprojekte mit Bildungs- und Forschungsansätzen verknüpft.

Ein zentraler Aspekt ist die technische und ingenieurwissenschaftliche Dimension des Standorts: Die ehemalige landwirtschaftliche Konversionsfläche wurde unter Einbeziehung von Statikern, Architekten und Ingenieurinnen zu einer nachhaltigen Kulturstätte transformiert. Beispielsweise die Implementierung einer leistungsstarken Photovoltaikanlage mit intelligenter Speichertechnologie demonstriert praxisnah die Möglichkeiten der regenerativen Energieversorgung und macht technologische Innovationen für die Besucherinnen erlebbar.

Darüber hinaus schafft ARTHOK mit seinen partizipativen Bildungsformaten eine Schnittstelle zwischen Kunst und Wissenschaft. Wissenschaftsperformances, wissenschaftliche Workshops zu Themen wie Klimawandel, erneuerbare Energien, Nachhaltigkeit und direkte Projekte zur nachhaltigen Gebäudetechnik oder ökologischem Bauen eröffnen neue Perspektiven für die Verknüpfung von Kultur und Technik. Als Spielstätte des Festival für Freunde e.V. bietet Arthok Raum für Physik, Digitalisierung und künstliche Intelligenz. Zu diesen Themen finden jährliche Acts im Rahmen des Festival für Freunde statt. Durch Kooperationen mit der Uni Halle und Fachleuten aus den Bereichen Umweltwissenschaften und Architektur wird das Gelände nicht nur als Kunst- und Veranstaltungsort genutzt, sondern auch als Lern- und Forschungsraum für innovative MINT-Ansätze.
