In der Mecklenburgischen Seenplatte existierten bislang wenige tragfähige MINT-Strukturen und übergreifende Angebote wurden lediglich zwischen einzelnen Partner:innen abgestimmt.

Vor diesem Hintergrund haben sich die fünf Verbundpartner dazu entschlossen, gemeinsam das Projekt „MINT4MSE“ zu bilden. Wir verfolgen das Ziel, bestehende MINT-Angebote im Landkreis auszubauen sowie sichtbar und in die Fläche zu tragen.

Hierfür etablieren wir ein Netzwerk für die vorhandenen und künftigen MINT-Akteur:innen der Region, um Synergien zu schaffen. Um die vorhandenen Möglichkeiten auch nach außen zu tragen, entwickeln wir diese Online-Plattform, die als Informationsmedium für Jugendliche dient und aufzeigt, welche MINT-Angebote bereits verfügbar sind.

Um die Wahrnehmung der Angebote zu steigern, organisieren wir standortübergreifende MINT-Aktionswochen und schaffen so mehr Aufmerksamkeit für MINT-Angebote für interessierte Jugendliche. Durch unser MINT-Mobil und der Entwicklung von dezentralen MINT-Anlaufstationen tragen wir die Angebote in die Fläche und geben so den Jugendlichen die Möglichkeit, MINT-Themen zu erleben und sich dafür zu begeistern. Ein ausgebauter Bauwagen ist z.B. als „Green Workspace“ unterwegs und steht Jugendlichen auch am Standort des Forscherparks Neubrandenburg zur Verfügung.

Neben dem Ausprobieren, Tüfteln und Experimentieren fördern wir auch soziale und unternehmerische Kompetenzen in Verbindung mit MINT-Themen. In der MINT-Werkstatt unterstützen wir die Jugendlichen dabei, die zukünftige Welt mitzugestalten und stärken die MINT-bezogene berufliche Orientierung.

Unser Partnerprojekt das MINTforum MV möchte MINT-Angebote und Initiativen zu mehr Sichtbarkeit verhelfen, MINT-Akteure vernetzen und gemeinsam die MINT-Bildung in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern weiter voran bringen. Das MINTforum MV führt regelmäßige Netzwerktreffen, Aktionen und Tagungen durch.
