Die Deutsche Wildtier Stiftung setzt sich für den Schutz der heimischen Wildtiere und ihrer Lebensräume ein. Zu den Schwerpunkten der Arbeit zählen Natur- und Artenschutzprojekte, die Flächensicherung für wildtierfreundliche Lebensräume und die Naturbildung. Mit der Ausstellung in der Botschaft der Wildtiere sollen Menschen für die Schönheit und Einzigartigkeit der heimischen Natur begeistert werden. Kinder und Erwachsene tauchen mithilfe von interaktiven Stationen in die Lebenswelten der heimischen Wildtiere ein. In den Bildungsangeboten in der Lernwerkstatt können Kinder eigenständig forschen, experimentieren und somit einen eigenen, selbstbestimmten Zugang zum Thema heimische Wildtiere entwickeln.
