Das MExLab Physik ist ein außerschulischer Lernort auf dem mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Campus der Universität Münster. Es begeistert für Wissenschaft und Technik durch Aktivitäten, die aus der Forschung heraus zielgruppengerecht entwickelt werden. MExLab Physik wird vom Fachbereich Physik getragen und arbeitet regelmäßig mit anderen außerschulischen Lernorten an der Universität (insbesondere Q.UNI – Kinder- und Jugenduni, Netzwerk Teilchenwelt und MExLab ExperiMINTe) zusammen. Das Angebot umfasst Workshops für Schulklassen und individuelle Gruppen, Ferienworkshops, Projektkurse, Genderprojekte sowie längerfristige Projekte zu interdisziplinären Themen. Die speziell berufsorientierenden Workshops bilden das Forschungsprofil des Fachbereichs Physik ab, stellen Zusammenhänge mit Alltagsphänomenen her und bieten Anknüpfungspunkte zum Lehrplan des Bundeslands NRW.
