MINT für alle – Vielfalt fördern, Zukunft gestalten!

Die ARGE Wissenregion Fuschlsee Mondsee, bestehend aus dem Technologiezentrum Mondseeland (Lead Partner), dem Forschungsinstitut für Limnologie, Mondsee, der Universität Innsbruck und der LEADER-Region Fuschlsee Mondseeland (FUMO), bestehend aus 17 Gemeinden in Salzburg und Oberösterreich, strebt mit dem Antrag die Zertifizierung als MINT-Region an. Dieses Vorhaben zielt darauf ab, durch Bildung, Vernetzung und Innovation die Region nachhaltig zu stärken und die Herausforderungen des ländlichen Raums wie Fachkräftemangel, Abwanderung und unzureichende Bildungsangebote zu adressieren.

Geografische und organisatorische Ausgangslage

Die MINT-Region FUMO deckt eine Fläche von 472 km² mit rund 42.500 Einwohner:innen ab. Die Initiative wird von der ARGE Wissensregion Fuschlsee Mondsee getragen, deren zentrale Akteur:innen das Technologiezentrum Mondseeland, das Forschungsinstitut für Limnologie Mondsee, der Universität Innsbruck und die LEADER-Region FUMO sind. Der MINT-Hub fungiert als koordinierende Plattform für Bildungs-, Wirtschafts- und Forschungspartner.

MINT-Angebote und Aktivitäten

Die Region bietet ein durchgängiges MINT-Programm entlang der Bildungskette, von frühkindlicher Förderung bis zur Erwachsenenbildung.

Einige Beispiele:

MINTday: Eine jährlich stattfindende interaktive Veranstaltung mit über 20 Stationen, die Schüler:innen und die Öffentlichkeit für MINT-Themen begeistert.
Lange Nacht der Forschung: Ein Highlight der Region, das Forschung, Wissenschaft, Technik und Innovation mit vielen Akteur:innen aus der Region FUMO in einem niederschwelligen Format für alle Altersgruppen zugänglich macht.
Spürnasenecken: Frühkindliche MINT-Förderung durch Experimentierecken in Kindergärten in Kooperation mit Wirtschaftspartner:innen.
Diese Initiativen adressieren Übergänge zwischen Bildungsstufen, stärken Chancengleichheit und fördern praktische Lernerfahrungen.
