Das Deutsche Technikmuseum zählt zu den meistbesuchten Museen Berlins und gilt als eines der führenden Technikmuseen weltweit – mit Ausstellungen zur Alltags-, Kultur- und Technikgeschichte. Als lebendiger Bildungsort schafft es Zugänge zu Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Technik und macht komplexe Themen erfahrbar.

Im Museum finden sich vier besondere MINT-Bildungsorte. Der Junior Campus bietet für Kitagruppen und Schulklassen Workshops zu den Themen Mobilität, Nachhaltigkeit und Mathematik. Im Kids Digilab erforschen Kinder ab drei Jahren spielerisch digitale Phänomene und lernen Grundlagen der Informatik kennen. Im Science Center Spectrum laden über 150 Mitmachstationen zum Experimentieren zu naturwissenschaftlichen Themen ein. Die interaktive Ausstellung TechLab ist ein Raum zum Experimentieren, Forschen und Selbermachen – mit modernen Technologien wie 3D-Druck und anderen Fertigungsverfahren.

Das Museum versteht sich als Raum für chancengerechte MINT-Bildung – es fördert Neugier, stärkt Selbstwirksamkeit und setzt Impulse über den Museumsbesuch hinaus.
